About the event
To kick off the 2024 Summer Concerts in the Park season, the Northern Appalachian Folk Festival, Inc. and the Historical & Genealogical Society of Indiana County are proud to present a Memorial Day celebration featuring the Community Youth Choir and the 46th Pennsylvania Regiment Band!
The Community Youth Choir, under the direction of Quintina Thomas, will perform a repertoire of fun, upbeat tunes beginning at 3pm.
The 46th Pennsylvania Regiment Band is a Civil War reenactment unit that performs a catalogue of waltzes, marches, camp songs, and polkas on authentic instruments from the mid-19th Century. Their set will begin at 3.30pm.
In the event of inclement weather, this concert will move to the Historical & Genealogical Society of Indiana County Museum next door to Memorial Park.
This is a free event, but donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated.
