Upcoming NAFF, Inc. Lecturer, Michael Klimkos, Discusses "The Fires of Penn's Woods" on WCCS Radio




Carlisle, PA Author and former wildland firefighter Michael Klimkos was a guest on Todd Marino's Indiana in the Morning radio show on Monday, April 22nd, where he discussed his book The Fires of Penn's Woods, which is also the subject of his upcoming lecture at the NAFF Center.


The Fires of Penn's Woods tracks the history of the wildfires that ran rampant through Pennsylvania after the Industrial Revolution of the early-1900s, leaving an area of devastation known as the Great Pennsylvania Desert, and how both new life and the science of forestry grew from the ashes.
